Frequently asked questions will assist you in making an informed decision. The detox footbath market is an unregulated field and therefore will have volumes of complicated and misleading information. We strive to be honest with our results and our research and because of past experience and the past experiences of our field practitioners and sales reps we have been compelled to address multiple customer service issues and concerns. The PureCharge Spa unit was developed because of negative past experiences in the marketplace and a need to present the information in a forthright and honest way. The key to understanding is that the competitor footbath units work - just different than claimed. Additionally, you may benefit from requesting a personal consultation to further discuss the many technical details and treatment protocol for the Spa unit, however following are some Frequently Asked Questions. Click on the questions which interest you or scroll down to read them all.
What is your experience in the Footbath market? Enviro-Health-Tech has been involved with both sales, marketing, research and development of several footbath units since 1997, and specifically created and developed the PureCharge Spa to address many concerns experienced in the field. Please understand that this equipment (as in all the footbath units on the market) is an unregulated field. These units are still considered an experimental alternative hydro-therapeutic device. They are based on century old principles which have been used in many forms since it's inception in the late 1800's earlier 1900's. Much of the research has been conducted overseas and with related products. It should be considered to be controversial as with most of the alternative health field. How and why did you invent the footbath unit? Footbath equipment, electrically stimulating hydrotherapy devices were actually experimented with at the turn of the century by Nikola Tesla and Hans Nieper. They started testing the use of electricity/voltage in water to obtain greater body health. In the early 90's an Australian Company - came out with a BEFE footbath unit and later it was introduced into the U.S. Several years later, an engineer/designer from Q2 broke away and created the AquaChi footbath unit. Around the same time, many more footbath units hit the market - we carried both Q2, AquaChi and the BioCleanse Technologies footbath for several years. All the units were based on existing function and design principles. During that time one of our scientists recognized the possibility of a permanent water array but the technology was still too advanced for market. Our collaborative R & D team were compelled to continue development on the theory of permanence in a water array. Enviro-Health-Tech approached our long-time business associate Aurem Resources to address several key issues and concerns found in the existing units available. Based on research and marketing conducted for several years and Aurem Resources providing critical data to our manufacturing associate, and with a highly trained, collaborative group of scientists, researchers and practitioners; developed the PureCharge Energetic Spa in late 2003. The permanent water array is a pioneering, break-through - a totally new technology which only enhances the charging process developed at the turn of the century. There are many other footbath units on the market both in the United States and Internationally ..... HOWEVER, the PureCharge Energetic Spa is the ONLY footbath unit on the market to provide a detoxifying recharge without toxic, metal-alloy by-product residue! What makes your water array so special? We started working on the PureCharge Spa permanent "QuanTech" water module after many years in the field.... we heard multiple comments regarding the water color - there was (and is) much misleading information. Keep in mind that the metals used in the PureCharge Spa did not even exist as a marketable commodity until about 2003. Aurem Resources knew the potential and experimented at great lengths to perfect the "QuanTech" blend so that the array would not breakdown. All the water arrays in footbath units of this type use a metal blend which breaks down, pocks and corrodes into the water during the treatment process. Resistance & friction is caused by the breakdown of metals which lowers the voltage. All the units will detox the body through cellular stimulation, and energetic charging but it will take longer and you will be sitting in toxic metal-alloy solution while attempting to de-toxify! The voltage is what is essential - not amperage! Amperage would shock and be irritable to those with nerve damage or sensitivity to electrical sensation. Higher voltage without resistance and friction is what should be strived for. The permanent QuanTech array was the direction we wanted to go.....why soak in sludgy metal residue when you can soak in clean, clear, effervescing water. It is a noticeably "clear" choice. How come your array does not breakdown and need replacing? All footbath models work under the same principles based on Tesla & Nieper - a DC charge into water, salt or minerals which create electrolysis and a metal array to produce or separate the hydrogen and oxygen. This process is a type of fusion process which is very corrosive to metals - with only a few uses the inferior metals (stainless steel, copper, alloys, nickel etc...) will breakdown. This was inerrant in the design. Also problematic.....Until PureCharge Energetic Spa with a proprietary "QuanTech" blend of cutting-edge, revolutionary space-age metals, which will not breakdown during the separation of hydrogen and oxygen. How can you claim permanence in a water array? A sealed array has reduced productivity over a relatively short time. Our PureCharge array is not sealed - as a matter of fact there are specific calculations whereby a certain amount of space is necessary in order for the Hydrogen & Oxygen to be optimally separated/created. The PureCharge array exists because of recent advancements made in metallurgy. The center annode Rod is actually gauged for 40 years, but we prefer to offer a conservative estimate of 10 years of use. Do you have test results of water residue? Yes, click here for test results conducted by Doctor's Data Lab with water results before and after a client's treatment. We tested several footbath units whose water array breaks down. The tests of sludgy, metal residue were surprisingly similar. Nothing but a variety of minerals, trace elements and metal alloys. It was these results which prompted us to create a better water array. What were the water test findings of "vendor x"? What we found is that the majority of detox was not coming from the patient into the water but that the array was breaking down it's metals into the water. Despite the many misleading claims a definite breakdown of metals occur. Unfortunately, the key test is this......start a unit in a bucket WITHOUT a person in the bucket, the same metal residue appears. Start a unit in a bucket WITH a person, the same metal residue appears. There may actually be more metal residue created with a body in the bucket because the energy of the person influences the electrolysis. As the rings, clips, copper, and metals of the water array breaks down and pocks, there is even more residue created with subsequent footbaths. The residue is metal particulate in ionized solution and made visible by conglomerating. We tested patients before and after to find if elements like arsenic, beryllium, cadmium , nickel, aluminum, tin, tungsten, and lead existed in their system prior to footbaths - these elements exist in footbath water with a body in the water or without a body in the water - but these elements don't necessarily exist in the body of patients. We can show that detox occurs with compounds like Mercury, but over time - months of treatments. When you ask for or view competitor's "test results of water" you will see a large list of metals, alloys and metal components - it is the same test results we obtained when testing competitors models. It does not prove in any way that those components are released from the body. Before and after testing of hair, urine, fecal matter, blood, chelation, biofeedback, kinesiology, etc... will show levels of detoxification. When tested, the sludge does not produce yeast, cancer cells, leukemia or other health ailments and symptoms. How do you detox using the footbath unit? The only way we actually physically witnessed immediate detox with a patient is the evidence of organic elements like carbon, amino acids, proteins (compounds not necessarily found in metals) in minute amounts, but unfortunately, with most footbath units, the sludgy metal residue was also still there. Usually, footbath water shows little or no mercury in the results even when the patient is overloaded with mercury. HOWEVER, overtime and with many cycles of footbaths Mercury will reduce in a patient but is best shown with urine & fecal tests, blood work etc.....Organs, cells, colon etc. begin to work at optimum function and will detox the body through normal channels. An immediate detox into the water DOES NOT HAPPEN - IT NEVER HAS- IT NEVER WILL. It takes time and is not a magic bullet but does work long-term. It works even faster when metals don't breakdown during the treatment creating friction, resistance and lowered voltage. What is the truth about the brown water? Brown water is of no health benefit - If it doesn't have to be there then why have it? Technology has advanced whereby sludgy metal residue is not necessary for the function of footbath detoxification. Colors are caused by the metals!...and a variety of other conditions. The biggest misnomer in the field are the claims that certain colors are yeast, cancer, leukemia, etc... It is very false. Any scientist with integrity knows this truth! Different metals and regional minerals in the water used create the different colors. Some peoples energetic fields influence the breakdown fusion process, and the water turns black with large flakes evident. This does not come directly from the feet of the patient. It is a reaction caused by many factors as mentioned - minerals, salt, metals, water quality, volume of water (try a full bath), health of the user, environmental conditions etc.....And what is the effectiveness/longevity of the different types of arrays? All units, except the PureCharge Energetic Spa, are copies of the same thing over & over. Solid arrays that are used do have more metal surface, so that they last longer, but they still breakdown and will need replacing. Copper tabs are also used in some units, but still breakdown. Rings, clips, plates, stainless steel posts are also used in some models- all breakdown and pock. You can see the metals as an ionized solution bubbling off from the array. The metals and a variety of environmental conditions cause the color in water. The replacement parts are pocked, change shape, become rough and will eventually disintegrate - hence needing replacement. Breakdown occurs with use, replacement costs vary - some replace just a ring or clip, or copper tab - some units require replacing the whole array at costs ranging from $125 to $500. Ring & Clip packages range from $10 to $50 dollars and may only last one month. The effectiveness of each unit depends on the type of array, the metal alloy used in the parts of the array. One of your competitors states that, "If no array erosion occurs, the electrolysis process will be greatly diminished with virtually no color change in the water. This would be the natural result of a truly indestructible array." Is this a true statement regarding your PureCharge Spa water array? This is exactly what we recently discovered and is the reason why the PureCharge Spa is a superior footbath unit to any on the market. In the "old days" the separation of oxygen & hydrogen did influence the erosion of metals in a saline solution! - because only certain metals were available for commercial use. When there is no erosion, there is no friction, no resistance - electrolysis is diminished....and that is okay because electrolysis is caused by the salt (saline solution) and aids the separation of hydrogen & oxygen. Electrolysis causes a breakdown of the metals - metals cause color in the water. No color means diminished electrolysis to the competitors. The PureCharge Spa will work with little or no salt in the water so electrolysis is still evident but voltage is increased! The "QuanTech" proprietary metal blend separates the hydrogen & oxygen without breakdown of metals. This is the natural result of a truly indestructible array!. The key feature of the PureCharge Spa. We have done the "impossible" - that is what makes the Spa unit so pioneering in it's innovation! It works under the same premise as all the others....just better!
How many times can it be used
before being replaced? If the
QuanTech Cage is taken care of with regular cleaning and treated as stated in
the operation manual it is geared to last 40 years with continuous use -
however, we prefer to offer a conservative estimate of 10 years. The unit has
only been in the field since 2003, so we are making a conservative
estimate. There is a 1 year warranty on parts and workmanship. If the water
module needs replacing it can be done so under warranty or for a nominal fee.
How do I know that the residue in the bucket is not detox? If you have access to any footbath - just do a test....run the unit without a body in the water. Common sense will show you the truth.....
I like the fact that there
are no parts on your machine that need to be replaced and no mess to clean up.
Without sludgy residue, the PureCharge sustains voltage in a clear, pure
solution so the charge can be absorbed by the body easily. Not to mention, it
is easier to clean up, no assembly or disassembly of arrays, no replacement
parts, no fiddling with dials, knobs or frequency meters. We have found
through extensive research & development and a three year field trial that,
increased sustained voltage without friction or resistance has the most
beneficial results. The charge is easily assimilated by cells, tissues and
organs and through normal treatment protocol we have found results to be
quicker and more noticeable. This is not to detract from other units on the
market - the footbath process does work to charge the body and help it to
detox through normal bodily functions - however, contrary to popular
belief, the body does not detox the sludge. The body does not work that way.
The body detoxifies a clear solution called EMASS - it consists of elements of
proteins, nucleic waste, salt, carbon, minerals, amino acids, etc....similar
to if you tested sweat, urine or blood.
Since the water does not change color, what proof do you have And how do you know when it's not working? If the unit is not working it will not bubble and effervesce. Many clients express that they do feel a heightened energy when using Pure Charge Spa versus others on the market. Many experience tingling. Some claim a greater sense of well-being, others sleep better than ever.
Is your machine transportable?
Yes, the unit
comes in a portable, lightweight, yet durable travel case. It weighs in
at under 4 pounds and is small enough to fit under an airline seat. You need to rinse it after each use and clean it
regularly with baking soda and lemon or other "calcium, lime, or rust"
remover or a like product. You can use it in an ordinary
plastic bucket or container or in a bathtub. NO staining will occur.
You may use it with 220 volts power (will need a plug-in adaptor).
Why do I need to use Salt? An electrolytic solution is necessary to conduct a charge. Solar Evaporated Sea Salt Crystals are included. Use just a pinch in a footbath...3-5 salt crystals in a full bath. With some water quality high in minerals, salt may not even be required. Should I be concerned about Electric Shock Hazard? This could be a concern with cheap knock off models. A footbath unit could be made at your kitchen table with parts from your local electronic store. We have seen some units in the field with cut cords, exposed wires, fuses that blow, transformers that heat up, digital meters that fluctuate or break. Timers which create electrical shorts and continue to run incessantly. It is all these concerns which helped us to create the PureCharge Spa which alleviates fiddling with knobs, fuses, meters, etc...The Spa unit is thoroughly tested for safety and efficacy. Also of concern is the requirement to not touch the unit while in operation. Are clients likely to be electrocuted if they do, by mistake? NO! We do not sell products which will harm our customers, but we do offer several precautions and warnings for sensitive individuals. Electrical current under 3 amps is okay - the PureCharge Spa unit generates under 1.5 amps. There is no chance to increase amperage (many in the field can go up to 6 amps and you will feel the electrical feeling ) - MORE AMPS ARE NOT BETTER you can feel 1000's of volts without electrocution, but the Spa unit puts out no more than 24volts. We have a perfected "IntelliVOLT" system which is self-monitoring and needs no adjustment. Voltage is the key to optimum healing with energetic footbath units. The sludge residue created in competitor's models by ionization, effects the voltage of the water. A lower voltage means a slower healing process. Consistent Voltage creates faster healing. As the rings, clips, copper and metal breaks down and pocks, there is even more residue created with subsequent footbaths and optimum voltage is effected. Should I be concerned with Premature System Failures? PureCharge Spa has a current limiter which is specifically designed for our IntelliVOLT power transformer. The PureCharge only operates at 1.5 amps and never more. There is no chance to increase amperage - there are no fuses to overload because we don't use them. NO company wants to admit their failure rate.... We strive for high product quality through better design - IntelliVOLT ensures optimum voltage with no timers or frequency meters, and a controlled amperage/voltage monitor, etc..... With any manufactured item assembled by humans there is a certain amount of failure - with components, circuits, switches, solders, wiring etc....The key is to keep it at a minimum and if there are problems or issues; to replace the defective unit with little or no wait. We have a 1 year limited warranty on parts & workmanship. Our product failure rate is about 7% we want to achieve a better quality rating - we strive for about 3%. Unregulated and unfiltered alternating current (AC) flows will interfere with the body's electrical system. This is correct, which is why PureCharge Spa created "IntelliVOLT" to monitor the unit and the perfect voltage without harm to the body. Should I be concerned with Static Interference? We do not use a digital or computer circuit board which alleviates this concern. IntelliVOLT monitors and regulates the power. We suggest using the Spa unit in a well-ventilated area. Do you use computer chip or switching power supplies that may generate radio frequencies? The Pure-Charge Spa does not use a computer chip or switching power supply. IntelliVOLT is not regulated by the FCC however it is UL approved for safety and tested by Radiance Electronics for efficacy.
When people detoxify using "vendor
x" model, it can be very "smelly" Does your machine give off these smells or
does it actually clean the air as it runs?
All units, if working correctly
may produce a smell. The smell if noticeable, it is caused by the separation
of the Hydrogen & Oxygen (the basic premise of all units). Some clients
notice it, others do not. We always recommend that the unit be used in a
well-ventilated area or with a fan or vent turned on in the room. The
smell has been likened to a chlorine smell.
Is your machine FDA or
Health Canada approved? NO, and it never
will be. However, we are having independent research and testing conducted -
it is ongoing, time-consuming and expensive (no public documents are available
at this time but will be in the future). The Pure Charge Spa has been tested for
efficacy, safety and uses UL approved components and superior parts.
FDA regulates food and drugs. Footbath units are neither. The energetic
footbath market is an unregulated field and they are still classified as an
"alternative experimental health device". Some units which use certain types
of computer chips may need approval by the FCC which regulates communications
radio waves. PureCharge does not use any computer chips. All units may be
disciplined by the FTC for making false or misleading health claims but they
do not regulate the market.
One of your competitors states they are FDA approved. You may wish to check your proof on that - they allude to that claim, but the FDA will not regulate or approve footbath units - on top of that it takes 10 - 20 years to have independent supplements, pharmaceuticals and food additives, etc.. to be approved- many get bogged down in bureaucracy and never get approval which is why you see disclaimers on most supplements, herbs, natural medicines. Are you seeking governmental approval for your product and if so, what stage is that at? No, and probably will not - this is an unregulated field and does not fall under FDA, FTC, or FCC, or other governmental jurisdictions. We make no claims. Please note the disclaimer on all literature and posted on our website - we have provided a copy below.
Do you have a qualified health practitioner I may consult with? Yes, contact us for a list of PureCharge Spa practitioners. The Spa was created by an experienced International team of engineers, scientists, physicists, Quantum Physics experts, Clinicians, Health Practitioners, as well as many field data reports conducted by a variety of Health Practitioners from different modalities. Ongoing testing is being conducted by independent research facilities. Specific results will be published when available.
Does your machine work on the
principle of having "x" number of sessions to detoxify and "x" number of
sessions as a preventative treatment?
Our treatment protocol is stated
similarly and is based on homeopathic principles and energetic healing
principles and basic kinesiology/biofeedback studies. We suggest using the
unit for 14 days every 2nd day in a 28 day cycle - take a break for 28
days, to allow the body to assimilate (the body reaches a saturation point).
Then start up again following the next month. Some clients use the unit as
preventative, others with chronic illness will do a full cycle which consists
of 1-1/2 years every second month. Some will use it consistently without a
break. A lot of clients report regular use daily/weekly. This type of
treatment can get expensive at a clinic which is why we developed the
PureCharge for home use as well as busy clinics. Irregardless of cost, some
clients prefer treatment at a clinic in association with other modalities -
other clients use the footbath exclusively at home.
Can the PureCharge Energetic Spa be used on people who have had a.) bypass surgery, b.) replacement valves or stints, c.) surgery like hip or knee replacements, d.) suffer from epilepsy, e.) have had organs partially
removed, or f.) have had cancer treatments? We always recommend to Your site says those on medication should be monitored by a health practitioner. What do you mean by that? Licensed health care professionals have certain physiological information regarding specific conditions relating to their field of expertise. Massage therapists, lymph specialists, acupuncturists, colon therapists, chiropractors etc....have specific education relating to those type of bodily treatments and how a client may or may not react. We can not be held responsible for every individuals specific medical conditions. The pharmaceuticals are prolific in this country and people die daily from poor combinations, overly prescribed-medications, new drugs, etc...From our limited testing on this topic, the heightened energy gained from using the system may neutralize or enhance certain pharmaceuticals. There are too many to test individually. Would those clients mentioned above, be able to use the machine under "arms-length" supervision? In the experience of several field practitioners, some treat their acute clients - some don't, some use alternative treatment protocols. You will want a personal consult to go over these type details. Do treatments have to be performed by/in the presence of a licensed doctor if clients are on prescription medication or do their doctors just need to know that they are going to be using this detoxification method? that is a decision which should be left up to the client or practitioner as explained above - however, we have many satisfied home users with no special training or expertise. Most traditional doctors would be unsympathetic to this type of treatment and it is not recognized or regulated by any traditional medical body. Contact your alternative health practitioner for more information. If the product is found to be defective, do you have a warranty? If the product is found to be defective due to component failure or workmanship, the unit is repaired or replaced according to the limited conditions stated on the warranty. The limited warranty guarantees that we will stand behind our product for a minimum of 1 year due to product workmanship or component failure - however, if the equipment is found to be faulty or defective after one year a customer may still obtain repairs or replacement for a small fee.
Why do you have a
restocking fee on returns? There are two reasons for a restocking fee:
1.) Once the equipment has been used it can not be sold as new and therefore in order to accept returns we must charge a minimum of 10% and up to 25% restocking
fee depending on the reason and the condition of the returned unit. Restocking
is charged for those who use the machine and change their mind for whatever reason This is classified as an "opened box policy".
The unit can not be sold as new and there are certain conditions of sale to deter frivolous purchases and the cost of opened packaging.
2.) We are a small independent co-operative and must make this type of condition
to alleviate frivolous purchases and excessive costs for restocking. Units are custom made to order for
each client. Cancellations or returns have a restocking fee instilled.
This covers fees involved with processing, refurbishment, and repackaging costs.
The manufacturer has to be paid for their work and there are costs associated with |
